Disney World Insider Tips

  • Ask for a cup of water at restaurants - it’s free
  • Refill your water container with ice cold water from your leftover meal
  • Be at the front gate 1 hour before the parks open. They’ll open the gates 30 minutes before opening and you can wait by the castle to go to your favorite rides and have the lowest wait time of the day.
  • Store souvenirs, snacks or a sack lunch in their lockers - open and close as many times per day as you need to.
  • Use the Rider Swap on rides that children are too short to ride
  • Watch the ride wait times on the Disney World app to catch rides during a shorter wait time
Reserve a spot for Fantasmic on the Disney app first thing in the morning or you might not get a spot
  • Leave room for spontaneity and enjoy moments you’ve never encountered before.
  • Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, first time at Disney World, etc.? Go into any store, and ask for a free pin.
  • Some families say that their younger children don’t enjoy Epcot, so if you only have 3 days to spend at the parks, enjoy the other 3 parks and skip Epcot.
